WC 3027 with CN 5380 in train 399

WC GP40u 3027 in 399 at Copetown

WC 3027 was built by EMD as a 3000 hp GP40 in January 1967 and was numbered MILW 161, it subsequently became MILW 2034, then SOO 2034 & NRE 2034 and eventually Algoma Central 1991. The ACR was absorbed by WC and the locomotive was renumbered WC3027. At some point it was upgraded to GP40u.

WC3027 assists SD40-2 5380 with train 399 passing Copetown on Wednesday March 28th, 2007.
