UK Class 150 2-car diesel units using hydraulic transmissions were built by British Rail Engineering in York between 1986 and 1987. The units are composed of a DMSL and a DMS which provide 137 2nd class seats after being refurbished. The sets are rated at 420kW, 563 hp and have a top speed of 75 mph, 121 km/h.
