4210 approaching the stop at Salgótarjáni utca

Budapest has an extensive system of trams lines numbered between 1 and 69 with gaps due to line closings over the years. The lines are standard gauge. Tatra T5C5 cars were built in what was then Czechoslovakia and are single-ended cars riding on 2 4-wheel trucks, they have seating for 28 and a top speed of 65 km/h, 40 mph. They are powered by 4 electric motors having a combined rating of 180 kW, 240 hp and draw 600 volts from the overhead. 
4210 entered service in April 1984.

4210, with a westbound 28 service, crosses the tracks of route 37 as it approaches the stop at Salgótarjáni utca on Sunday May 2nd, 2004.
