Magdeburg Tram 1284.

Magdeburg's tram system consist of 10 routes numbered 1-5, 5E, 6, 8-10. The trams run on standard gauge tracks.  1284 is one of a class of 12 Czech built CKD type T6A2 cars. 6 were first introduced in Magdeburg in 1989 followed soon by another 6 that were initially sent to Schwerin. It is a 28 seater powered by 4 43 kW traction motors for a total rating of 172 kW, 230 hp and a top speed of 55 km/h, 34 mph. 

CKD T6A2DM number 1284 on service 1 to Sudenburg in Magdeburg on Wednesday May 7th, 2003. It has turned into the Ernst-Reuter Alle. #1284 was one of the 6 Magdeburg T6A2DM trams that were originally allocated to Schwerin.
