Ostrava tram system runs on standard gauge tracks and there are 15 routes
numbered between 1 & 19. All cars in service prior to 1997 were Tatras
built by ČKD when some low floor Škoda Astras were purchased and in 2002
an order was placed with INEKON for their 01 TRIO model. 1043 was built by ČKD in Prague as a type T2 number 614 (1958), modernized to T2R in 1985 and upgraded in 1997 to T3G. Tatra T3G 1043 approaches "Vítkovice vysoké pece" tram stop with a number 2 service on Saturday October 2nd, 2004. |
