Olomouc tram system runs on standard gauge tracks and there are 7 routes.
Most cars in service are Tatras T3s, some which have been modernized
between 1999 & 2003 and 4 Škoda low floor trams
153 was built by ČKD in Prague as a type T3SUCS (serial number 175065) delivered to Olomouc in 1985. It was rebuilt by Alstrom as part of a batch of 15 treated between 2000 & 2004 and are classified as type T3RP. The most noticeable external difference is the digital destination screen. Tatra/Alstrom T3RP 153 on route 5 in třída Svobody on Wednesday June 29th, 2005. |
