Northbound at Davisville.

The Toronto Subway runs on 1495 mm gauged track ( 4' 10 7/8") which is the same as the streetcars. There are 3 lines with the north-south Yonge line being the 1st built in 1954 and it was followed later by the east-west Bloor-Danforth line and recently by the east-west Sheppard.

Northbound train at Davisville station on Monday August 29th, 2005. Being outside on the surface portion of the line, you can just imagine how cold this could be in January or February.
