|The Toronto Subway runs on 1495 mm gauged track ( 4' 10
7/8") which is the same as the streetcars. There are 3 lines with the
north-south Yonge line being the 1st built in 1954 and it was followed
later by the east-west Bloor-Danforth line and recently by the east-west
5347 at Davisville station on Monday August 29th, 2005. It was built by Bombardier in 2001 and is classified T1 by the TTC. Seating for 66 it operates as a married pair with 5346.
