Linz has an extensive trolleybus service. In 1998, Linz ordered a fleet of
3 axle, low-floor articulated trolleybuses from Volvo of Poland. They are
classified as model 7000AT and have 47 seats and room for 92 standees. They
collect 600 volt DC from the overhead and are rated at 172 kW (230hp) for continuous
operation to produce a top speed of 70 km/h, 44 mph.
