Katowice 102Na 241 on route 15

Katowice is the centre for an extensive system of standard gauge tram lines running between various communities in the Silesia Basin. The 30 tram lines are electrified at 600 volts. It is part of the Municipal Transport Union of the Upper Silesian Industrial District [KZK GOP].
Tram 241 is a Konstal built 102Na built in April 1973. It is a 6-axle articulated vehicle powered by 4 motors each rated at 41.5 kW for a total rating of 166 kW, 223 hp and has a top speed of 55 km/h, 34 mph.

Tram 241, carrying overall advertising livery, heads west with a route 15 service between Plac Wolności and Katowice main railway station on Friday June 24th, 2005.
