Slovak 25,000 volts AC locomotive of
class 263. There were 12 locomotives built by koda in 1984 & 1988 (locos 001 & 002 in the CD fleet and 003 to 012 in Slovakia). These Bo-Bo locomotives are rated a 3060 kW, 4102 hp and have a top speed of 120 km/h, 74 mph. This loco was built by koda in 1988 (serial number 8403). 263 007-7 coupling onto train IC402 (05:45 Kosice to Wien Süd) at Bratislava hl st on Thursday April 29th, 2004. It had arrived with a class 350 from Kosice and the 263 will haul the train to Bratislava Petrzalka (scheduled 19 minutes) where it will be replaced by an ÖBB dual voltage electric. |
