CN's SD70I fleet consists of 26 GMD built locomotives built from July to November 1996. The "I" in the type name indicates the cabs are isolated by springs from the locomotive body. These 6-axle diesel electrics are rated at 4000 hp, 2984 kW and have a top speed of 70 mph, 113 km/h.
