Class EN57 Polish 3-Car Electric Units

Class EN57 are a 3-car multiple unit with driving trailers at both ends and a motor unit with pantographs in the centre. The first units entered service in 1961 and some have recently been re-furbished with new interiors. They are not air conditioned and are fitted with large drop-windows. These units are rated at 580 kW, 777 hp with a top speed of 110 km/h, 68 mph.
