Polish class SU45 locomotives were created from class SP45 with the addition of electric train heat. They are Co-Co diesel electrics built from 1967 onwards and are rated at 1287 kW, 1725 hp with a top speed of 100 km/h, 62 mph.

SU45-255 has just uncoupled from train RB5984 (13:25 arrival from Poznan Gl) at Frankfurt (Oder) on Friday May 9th, 2003.
