ONR 601 was built by Hawker Siddeley in Thunder Bay, Ontario in 1967 for
GO Transit as 4716, renumbered to 9916 and then 1016. As 9916 is was
leased to Boston MTA from June 1979 until late in 1980. It was acquired
by ONR in 1985 and rebuilt by them with 54 seats (GO had 94 seats when
they operated them).
