The Norfolk & Southern was created in 1982 by the merger of the Southern Railway with the Norfolk & Western. In 1999 parts of Conrail were acquired. Most of the photos were taken of trains 327 & 328 (Buffalo to Ford St. Thomas Assembly Plant) but occasionally NS power appears on CN trains.
