Built from 1995 to 1998, the first 30 trains of class ETR500 operate on 3000 V dc
only. These are 13 coach units with a power rating of 8800 kW, 11,800 hp and a top speed of 300
km/h, 186 mph. Loco 02B is actually E404.113 built by Breda Pt-Trevi in 1997. Locomotive 02B (E404.113) is the rear unit of Eurostar train #ES9489 (06:55 Milano Centrale to Venezia S Lucia) at Venezia Mestre on Saturday October 14th, 2006. |
