WLB 402 on Wiedner Hauptstrasse

This company operates trams between Wien Oper and Baden Josefsplatz. On a part of its line (Inzersdorf-Traiskirchen) there is also freight traffic. In addition the WLB operates open-access freight trains over the ÖBB network. It was founded in 1888 when the streetcar line in southern Vienna was transferred to them from the local tramway company. In 1899 that line was electrified and the steam trains were replaced.
402 is a Bombardier Flexity Classic 3-section low floor tram built in September 2000.
