Electric V43 325
|GySEV (Györ-Sopron-Ebenfurthi Vasút) is primarily owned by the governments
of both Austria & Hungary and also has running rights over MÁV trackage
into Budapest from Györ. 25 kV Electric class V43 locomotives have Bo-Bo
wheel arrangements and are rated at 2220 kW, 2977 hp and a top speed of 130
km/h, 81 mph.
V43 325 was built by Ganz-MAVAG in 1980 (works number 460) as MÁV V43 1325 and was transferred to Gysev in 1987.
V43 325 has just uncoupled from 3 GySEV passenger coaches at Sopron on Tuesday May 13th, 2003.
