Diesel & Electric shunters at Chur.

Rhätische Bahn is a metre gauge railway network in southeastern Switzerland running from junctions with the SBB at Landquart and Chur to St. Moritz and Davos. This part of their system is electrified at 11,000 volts.

Locomotive 231 is a Gm3/3 diesel hydraulic shunter introduced from 1975. It rides on 3 powered axles (hence 3/3) with a power rating of 295 kW, 395 hp and a shunting speed of 35 km/h, 22 mph.. Electric shunter 215 on the right is a Ge3/3 from 1984 rated at 425 kW, 570 hp with a top speed of 40 km/h, 25 mph.
