The DB class 182 locomotives are are development of the ÖBB 1016 Taurus.
These are dual voltage locomotives that can run on 15 kVA or 25 kVA
systems. They were built by Siemens from 2001 and are rated at 6400 kW,
8582 hp and a maximum speed of 230 km/h, 142 mph.
182 014-1 was seen in Kufstein yard on the Austrian/German border on Sunday May 19th, 2002. It is coupled to ÖBB 1044 220-0. |
