These two car units are powered by a pair of diesel engines totaling 970 kW, 1300 hp using an electric transmission and a top speed of 160 km/h, 100 mph. They were built from 1992 onwards and seat 16 first class and 120 second class passengers. There were only 20 sets built and these are not air conditioned. |
