Class 294 Bo-Bo shunters were re-built from class 290 between 1995 to 1997. They are rated at 809 kW, 1084 hp, they have hydraulic transmissions and a top speed of 80 km/h, 50 mph.
This locomotive was built by Jung in March 1972 (serial number 14150) and numbered 290 304-5, it was modified in June 1996 and renumbered 294 304-1.
