139 165-5 was stabled at the ÖBB traction depot at Kufstein

4950 hp / 3700 kW built from 1957. Bo-Bo trucks. 15,000 volts. 110 km/h, 70 mph. Designed for steeply graded lines, they were a development of the class 140 with revised braking.
This locomotive was built by Krauss-Maffei in May 1960 (serial number 18663) as E40 1165 and was renumbered to 139 165-5 in 1968.

139 165-5 was stabled at the ÖBB traction depot at Kufstein on Sunday May 19th, 2002.
