5390 hp / 4020 kW built from 1990. Bo-Bo trucks. 15,000
volts ac with a top speed of 160 km/h, 100 mph.. These locomotives were originally ordered by the DDR as class 212 and became DB subclass 112.0 and when allocated to regional railway became class 114 and are used on the push-pull trains between Magdeburg-Berlin-Frankfurt(Oder). This locomotive was built by LEW (works number 21317) in October 1991 as 112 024-5 and in April 2000 it was renumbered to 114 024-3. 114 024-3 pushes train RE38348 (06:32 Elsterwerda to Stralsund) away from Eberswalde on Tuesday April 17th, 2007. |
