Class 770 Diesel Locomotive

Class 770 are Co-Co diesel electrics rated at 993 kW, 1332 hp and have a top speed of 90 km/h, 56 mph. Over 8000 of these locomotives were built by ČKD and were exported to the Soviet Union and around the world. 111 were built for mainline use in Czechoslovakia from 1963 as well as 57 more for industrial service (39 by ČKD & 18 by SMZ in Slovakia).
770 614-6 was built by SMZ in 1969 (serial number 0719) as T669.0514.
