CD railcars of class 850 date from 1962 (2 prototypes) with production versions (003 to 50) built by Vagonka Tatra Studénka in 1966 & 1967. They are fitted with hydraulic transmissions and are rated at 515 kW, 690 hp with a top speed of 110 km/h, 68 mph. They seat 48 2nd class passengers. Only the bogie under the engine compartment is powered (grilles in the roof) giving a wheel arrangement of B-2.
030 was built in 1967.
