843 Diesel Railcar

CD railcars of class 843 date from 1995 (1 prototype) with production versions (002 to 031) built by MSV Studénka in 1996 & 1997.  They are fitted with electric traction motors and are rated at 600 kW, 804 hp with a top speed of 110 km/h, 68 mph. The body shell is similar to a class 842 but is fitted with wheelchair lifts. They seat 59 2nd class passengers. They are computer fitted and able to operate with speed control.
