749 262-2 at České Budějovice with Sp1931

CD class 749 diesels were rebuilt from 1992 onwards with electric train heat from the class 751 which originated in1965. Both classes are diesel electrics rated at 1102 kW, 1477 hp and have a top speed of 100 km/h, 62 mph.
This loco was built by ČKD in 1967 as T478.1066, renumbered in 1988 as 751 066-2, then renumbered to 752 066-1. It was fitted with electric train heat sometime between 1994 and 1996 and became 749 262-2.
