Class 749 Bo-Bo Diesel Locomotive

749 213-5 at Decin
CD class 749 diesels were rebuilt from 1992 onwards with electric train heat from the class 751 & 752 which originated in1965. Both classes are diesel electrics rated at 1102 kW, 1477 hp and have a top speed of 100 km/h, 62 mph.
This locomotive was built by ČKD in 1971 (serial number 7705) as T478.1213 becoming 751 213-0 in 1988. It was fitted with ETH in December 1994 and was renumbered to 751 213-5.

749 213-5 at Děčín hlavní nádraží after arrival of train R694 (13:36 from Liberec) on Tuesday April 18th, 2006. A dual voltage electric locomotive continued with the train to Cheb.
