Class 749 Bo-Bo Diesel Locomotive

749 180-6 at Praha Zlicin
CD class 749 diesels were rebuilt from 1992 onwards with electric train heat from the class 751 & 752 which originated in1965. Both classes are diesel electrics rated at 1102 kW, 1477 hp and have a top speed of 100 km/h, 62 mph.
This locomotive was built by ČKD in 1970 (serial number 7672) as T478.1180 becoming 751 180-1 in 1988. It was fitted with ETH in October 1994 and was renumbered to 751 180-6.

749 180-6 attached to the front of train Os25943 (17:38 from Hostivice) at Praha-Zličin on Wednesday September 5th, 2007. Upon arrival it was uncoupled and proceeded east towards central Praha.
