749 102-0 at Lochovice with R1244

CD class 749 diesels were rebuilt from 1992 onwards with electric train heat from the class 751 & 752 which originated in1965. Both classes are diesel electrics rated at 1102 kW, 1477 hp and have a top speed of 100 km/h, 62 mph.
This locomotive was built by ČKD in 1968 (serial number 7299) as T478.1102 becoming 751 102-5 in 1988. It was fitted with ETH in May 1995 and was renumbered to 751 102-0.

749 102-0 at Lochovice with train R1244 (08:38 to České Budějovice) on Saturday, April 18th, 2009. The line was closed from Zdice for engineering work and buses were replacing trains between Beroun and Lochovice.
