Class 742 Bo-Bo Diesel Locomotive

Class 742 are diesel electrics rated at 883 kW with a top speed of 90 km/h, 56 mph.  The class was introduced in 1978 for freight and shunting duties although some are used for light passenger work.
742 243-9 was built by ČKD (serial number 12158) in September 1982 as T466.2243 and was renumbered in 1988. 742 230-6 was built in August 1982 (serial number 12145) as T466.2230.
