Class 742 are diesel electrics rated at 883 kW, 1184 hp with a top speed of
90 km/h, 56 mph. The class was
introduced in 1978 and for freight and shunting duties although some are
used for light passenger work. This loco was built in June 1984 by ČKD (serial number 13145). 742 377-5 at Frýdek-Místek on Tuesday June 28th, 2005. |
