Class 742 are diesel electrics rated at 883 kW, 1184 hp with a top speed of
90 km/h, 56 mph. The class was
introduced in 1978 and for freight and shunting duties although some are
used for light passenger work. This loco was built by ČKD (serial number 12738) in March 1983 as T466.2304 and was renumbered in 1988. 742 304-9 at Ostrava on Tuesday June 28th, 2005. |
