Class 742 are diesel electrics rated at 883 kW, 1184 hp with a top speed of
90 km/h, 56 mph. The class was
introduced in 1978 for freight and shunting duties although some are
used for light passenger work. This loco was built by ČKD (serial number 11647) in July 1980 as T466.2188 and was renumbered in 1988. 742 188-6 at Benešov u Prahy on Saturday, April 18th, 2009. |
