Class 742 Bo-Bo Diesel Locomotive

Class 742 are diesel electrics rated at 883 kW, 1184 hp with a top speed of 90 km/h, 56 mph.  The class was introduced in 1978 for freight and shunting duties although some are used for light passenger work.
742 083-9 was built by ČKD in September 1978 (serial number 10480) as T466.2083 and was renumbered in 1988.
