Class 340 Dual Voltage AC Electric

Class 340 were modified in 2004 from Škoda built AC electrics of class 240. They are rated at 3080 kW, 4130 hp with a top speed of 120 km/h, 74 mph.
340 055-3  was built by Škoda in 1968 (serial number 5897) and was originally numbered S499.0055 (becoming 240 055-4).
