Czech electric locomotives with a 1 in the first position are 3000v DC electrics.
Class 182 were built by Škoda from 1963 onwards and are rated at 2790 kW, 3740 hp with a top speed of 90 km/h, 56 mph. The class is a development of 181 class but with a different wheelbase (2500mm + 2100mm) compared to the 181 (2400mm + 2200mm).
