Ceremonial Band
The Changing of the Guard Ceremony takes place in front of the Centre Block and involves soldiers of the Ceremonial Guard (formed from members of the Govern-General's Foot Guards and the Canadian Grenadier Guards based in Montreal). The guard is mounted at Rideau Hall, the residence of the Queen's representative in Canada.

The band of the Ceremonial Guard has a brass section and a Pipe & Drums section. The GG Foot Guards have a red plume and the Grenadiers have a white plume. Photographed on Tuesday August 12th, 2008.
