The American Falls at night

The American Falls at Niagara Falls are totally in New York State and are best viewed from the Canadian side. The illuminations are from huge spotlights also mounted on our side and the lights are projected as white or in colours.

In person, the illuminations are so-so but spectacular sights when captured on film where the time exposure seems to soaks up the colours. A time exposure taken with a Pentax 35mm camera on slide film using the rocks in the guardrail to keep the camera steady. Taken June 1975.
