Bad Wimpfen
(Baden Württemberg)

Bad Wimpfen is a spa town along the Neckar River, between Heilbronn & Heidelberg which features many interesting buildings set in a scenic curve of the river. Settled as far back as the early Stone Age it had a fort & bridge built by the Romans in the First Century.
I stumbled on the town when I was looking for a hotel, near enough to Frankfurt Airport but away from any of the major centres. A truly rewarding experience.
