The 5147 class are a two car diesel multiple unit built by Jenbacher from
1992. They seat 124
second class passengers. Each units rides on 2 4-wheel trucks
with both axles of one powered by a 419 kW, 562 hp diesel using a
hydraulic transmission to produce a top speed of 120 km/h, 75 mph and are
basically similar to the single unit 5047 expect the control cabs are
located at the ends of each set. 5147 008-6 has arrived at 14:50 from Krems a. d. Donau and will return at 15:12 as train E6011. Photographed in platform 5 at St Pölten on Wednesday September 25th, 2002. |
