Class 1042 were built from 1963 until 1977. These are Bo-Bo locomotives rated at
3260 kW, 4370 hp and have a top speed of 130 km/h, 80 mph. They weigh 84 metric
tonnes, 92.6 US tons. This locomotive was built by SGP in Floridsdorf in June 1966 (serial number 18279) with electrics by Elin. It was numbered 1042.46 until May 1973 when it became 1042.59 and subsequently 1042 059-4. 1042 059-4 behind the Traktion Depot at Graz on Wednesday October 22nd, 2003. |
