PC 8127 was built in February 1973 for Penn Central. It is a GP38-2 rated at
2000 hp riding on 4
wheel trucks. Later it became CR8127 and ultimately Norfolk Southern 5310.
The photograph was taken on April 1st, 1977 at the passenger station in Erie, PA during a weekend NMRA Niagara Frontier Region convention. |
