The yards in Pueblo, CO on a Sunday morning in June 1987. 3001 is busily switching cars in the middle of the yard. The coal cars in the background are part of an ATSF unit coal train.

Rio Grande #3001 is a GP30 built by EMD in April 1962. 2250 hp riding on 4 wheel trucks. 3001 carries the large Rio Grande logo (my favourite). This loco was later sold to the Kansas Southwestern Railway where it became their KSW3001.
