Lead loco 6799 is a 3500 hp, 2611 kW SD50 built in August 1985 (serial number
847033-25) which later became NS 5458. Centre loco, # 6413 is a 3000 hp, 2238 kW SD40-2 Co-Co built in September 1977 (serial number 767078-10) later to become CSXT 8822. 6467 is also a SD40-2 built in October 1978 (serial number 786148-27) that became NS 8105. SD50 6799 leads 2 SD40-2s down Horseshoe Curve with an eastbound freight in June 1986. |
