Conrail's #6008 is a SD35 built by EMD in March 1965 as PRR6008. SD45s #6184 was ex-PRR 6184 built in January 1967 & 6184 was ex-PRR 6184 of December 1967. SD locomotives all run on 6 wheel trucks, SD35 are 2500 hp units and SD45 are 3600 hp.

These 3 locomotives are seen dragging a westbound train uphill past the Horseshoe Curve at Altoona, PA in September 1977.
