Cape Cod Central Railroad was formed in 1999 and is one of the leading Dinner and Scenic trains in the USA. It runs between Hyannis and Sandwich using a pair of chop nosed GP7s and a RS3 with some ex CNR/VIA dining cars as well as American passenger cars.
GP7 1501 was built by EMD in January 1952 (serial number 15943) for the Atlanta & St. Andrews Bay RR numbered 501.
