Farringdon Tube Station

Farringdon Tube Station was opened on January 10th, 1863 and was part of the world's first underground railway built by the Metropolitan Railway Company from Paddington (6 kM). It was initially called Farringdon & High Holborn Station. The station also serves Thameslink trains running from Brighton to Bedford. Photo taken Monday, June 14th, 1999.
